Kirk Little has been an astrologer for over forty years and has a long-standing interest in the historical and philosophical aspects of astrology. He is the author of ‘Defining the Moment: Geoffrey Cornelius and the Development of the Divinatory Perspective’ and ‘Spellbound: The Astrological Imagination of Washington Irving’ (Culture and Cosmos, Vol. 17 No. 1), as well as a number of articles and book reviews in the Astrological Journal and at www.skyscript.co.uk.
Kirk has a degree in American history and a master’s degree in social work. He is in private practice as a psychotherapist in southern Maine. He has been in the mental health field for thirty-five years.
Garry Phillipson is the author of Astrology in the Year Zero (Flare Publications, 2000) and curates Astrozero.co.uk where issues arising from the book are pursued. His articles and lectures have appeared under the aegis of groups and publications including the Astrological Association of Great Britain, the Astrological Lodge, the Company of Astrologers, the Urania Trust, the Standing Conference on Organizational Symbolism, Bath Spa, Kent and Trinity St. David Universities, The Sophia Centre Press, The Mountain Astrologer, Organization and Ascella.
He has been a student of astrology for over forty years.
He majored in philosophy for his BA (1973-6) and in 2020 completed a PhD at the University of Wales Trinity St. David which examines truth-issues in astrology and can be found on this site. Garry has a long-standing interest in the practice and philosophy of Buddhism and Advaita Vedanta.

Patrick Curry is a writer and scholar living in London. He holds a PhD in the History and Philosophy of Science from University College London and has been a lecturer at the University of Kent and Bath Spa University. He is the author of Prophecy and Power: Astrology in Early Modern England, (Oxford: Polity Press & Princeton: Princeton University Press, 1989), A Confusion of Prophets (Collins and Brown, 1992) and, with Roy Willis, Astrology, Science and Culture: Pulling Down the Moon (Oxford: Berg, 2004).

James Brockbank is a graduate of Oxford University, Bath Spa University, the University of Kent at Canterbury and the White Eagle School of Astrology and is a qualified horary and medieval astrology practitioner.
He has been studying astrology for over twenty years and has a particular interest in medieval and Hellenistic techniques. James completed his PhD, The Responsive Cosmos: An Enquiry into the Theoretical Foundations of Astrology in 2011.
